Burton Street and High House Terrace are in close proximity to one another and run off Infirmary Road/Langsett Road Sheffield. As a sidenote the lodgers in the house WILLIAM and ANNIE BARE were married in the Ecclesall Brierlow Registration District of Sheffield in the December quarter of 1879. Annie's maiden name was BARTON. (GRO Ref Vol 9c Page 330).  WILLIAM BARE also appears in the 1901 Census. He had moved from Sheffield and was living in Whittington which is on the outskirts of Chesterfield (Derbyshire). He was employed as a Colliery Painter. There is no record in the Census of his wife ANNIE in the Census.

Apart from Eveline, there are few photographs of the BARKER family. To date the only three I have found are of Eveline's younger brother WILLIS BARKER. WILLIS was born in the Ecclesall Bierlow district of Sheffield in the June quarter of 1898 (GRO Ref Vol 9C Page 375).

Going back to WILLIS, he joined the Army in the First World War where he served as an Officer's Batman. The photograph taken below shows WILLIS in uniform with his niece ALICE and nephew JAMES - the exact date and location are unknown.

The next photograph shows WILLIS sitting in a deckchair and would have been taken in the early 1920's.

The second photograph on the right was taken much later, probably soon after the Second World War. It shows WILLIS on the beach at Hunstanton, Norfolk. His occupation was a  Butler/Gentlemen's Assistant and as far as I know he was employed for a number of years at a house in the Ely district of Cambridgeshire.
