FREDERICK HOWE 1884 - 1916 - Walkley, Sheffield
This article is the result of my endeavors as a Friend of Walkley Cemetery. On a workday in February 1915 I uncovered the grave of the Howe - Bingham family (B166)
It is located to the right of the large bush in the centre of the photograph (taken January 2012)
The memorial on B161 had collapsed and was covered in debris. But once it was cleared it revealed a memorial inscription that is in excellent condition
With this information is was a relatively simple task to trace the family
The 1891 Census
1901 Census
1911 Census
The burial record for the grave is as follows
