Sheffield's All Electric House - Banner Cross, Sheffield - January 1927

This article appeared as a full page in the Sheffield Daily Telegraph dated 25th January 1927. I have had to separate the whole page into three sections so that I can include the full narrative and also those businesses and trades that were party to "The All-Electric House"

The house pictured is at the junction of Psalter Lane and Ecclesall Road, going away from Sheffield City Cemtre. I cannot be totally certain but I believe that both houses were demolished and replaced by Gilders Car Showroom. (1 Ecclesall Road South). Next to the now demolished Showroom is the cul-de-sac Banner Cross Drive and two houses that look similar to the ones featured below.
