Note There is a record in the IGI Index for a MATTHEW HIDES on 16 April 1813 at St Peters Church Parish Church now Sheffield Cathedral (Batch No.: C007752 Dates: 1813 - 1814 Source Call No.:0919328 Film 6909644 ) His father and mother are listed as ROBERT and SUSANNAH HIDES. I am not totally sure that this is Susannah's father but given his mother's name it does seem more than likely. If that is the case then they were married in the same church as which their son Matthew was christened
